2011 WALA Fine Art Auction and Reception
Washington Area Lawyers for the Arts (WALA) is holding a silent auction to raise funds to support education and legal support services for DC's creative community.
The silent auction will feature limited-edition prints and photography from some of DC's finest artists, including Jacob Kainen, Y. David Chung, William Christenberry, and Gene Davis. This is a wonderful opportunity to grow your law firm's art collection or enhance your own while supporting a worthy cause.
Membership opportunities for individuals and organizations are available, and we want you to be a part of the WALA community.
To show our appreciation, all attendees will receive a Mindy Weisel WALA Poster designed exclusively for the organization or a poster from the documentary "Yoo-Hoo, Mrs. Goldberg," a film by Peabody Award-winning filmmaker Aviva Kempner. Additional prints are available for donors of all levels.
Hors d'oeuvres, beer and wine will be served.
