Call For Submissions

  • Each year, LCCHP strives to present a variety of perspectives on some of the most complex and difficult cultural property issues of the day by looking at the legal, ethical, moral, scientific, technical, policy and practical concerns involved. This year, for our eleventh annual conference, we hope to engage in a conversation on pressing issues that will make current and future generations care more deeply about art, culture, and preservation in an age of rapid advancement.

This Call for Submissions is meant to give all interested parties an opportunity to share their expertise and lead a session at our 2020 conference, co-sponsored by Fordham Art Law Society.

    Submission Guidelines

Each submission must include the following:

    • Proposed title of your session and session format (i.e., panel or solo presentation)
    • Summary not exceeding 500 words
    • Session chair contact information
    • 100-word biography of session chair, moderator, and presenters

*Substitution of primary or secondary presenters after the proposal is accepted must be approved by LCCHP.

*If accepted, all presenters will receive a photography and video release form to sign.

All proposals must be submitted by 5pm Eastern Time on Friday, January 10, 2020 by e-mail to director@culturalheritagelaw.org. Proposals submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

  • Presentations made at the conference are considered contributions to the field. All related expenses are the responsibility of the presenter/s.* Sponsorship opportunity to list organization/company logo in the program and on conference webpage available upon request.
  • All session presenters will receive complimentary access to the whole conference.
  • We encourage proposals that offer a creative format that would allow our participants to learn about topics in a new way. For example, in 2017 we incorporated TED-style talks between panels.
