FBI agents on Monday returned three fish fossils, more than 100 million years old, to representatives of Brazil, where they were stolen.

The fish, valued at about $20,000, were recovered in as part of a larger, continuing investigation that began when federal agents saw a spectacular fossil – the head of a pterodactyl – offered for sale for $700,000, Special Agent John Webb said.
