Efforts urged to bring back Gandhara artefacts to KP

MARDAN: Archaeologists have called for efforts to bring back the artefacts of the Gandhara civilisation, which are scattered in different parts of the world to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The suggestion came at a meeting chaired by Dr Ihsan Ali, Vice-Chancellor of Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. The meeting agreed upon the formation of a Central Level Committee consisting of archaeologists, experts, stakeholders, representatives of relevant departments from all the provinces debate the issue.
