Emily Monteith is an attorney in the Office of General Counsel of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, where she provides advice on compliance with energy, environmental and cultural resources laws, in addition to appearing before the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board on a wide array of contested matters. As a law student, Ms. Monteith worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and at the U.S. Department of State, where she conducted legal research in comparative and international cultural property law. Ms. Monteith received her B.A. in International Relations and History from Wheaton College in 2005 and her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law in 2010.
