Board of Directors: Patty Gerstenblith, President
Patty Gerstenblith is Distinguished Research Professor at
DePaul University College of Law.
She is Director of
DePaul’s Center in Art, Museum and Cultural Heritage Law
and Co-Vice Chair of the
American Bar Association’s International Art and Cultural Heritage Law Committee
. She served as Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Cultural Property from 1995 to 2002 and as a public representative on the President’s Cultural Property Advisory Committee from 2000 to 2003. Her book,
Art, Cultural Heritage and the Law
, was published in 2004 with a second edition in 2008. She received her J.D. from Northwestern University and a Ph.D. from Harvard University in Fine Art and Anthropology. Before joining DePaul, she served as a clerk to the Honorable Richard D. Cudahy of the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
