Cultural Heritage Issues on a Global and Local Scale
Interested in cultural heritage, museum ethics, and international
treaties? Registration is still open for the Cultural Heritage CLE
offered by the Philadelphia Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (PVLA)
program of the Arts & Business Council of Greater Philadelaphia.
Preserving cultural patrimony and developing standards for building
museum collections have been big news in recent years. PVLA is offering
an upcoming program to discuss these issues.
Presented in partnership with Penn Cultural Heritage Center of Penn
Museum, this half-day program will use local Philadelphia case studies
to explore this important topic and give attorneys a means to fulfill
Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit requirements.

Speakers will focus on cultural heritage, museum ethics, international treaties, and local Philadelphia case studies. The lunchtime discussion will focus on the controversy of the "world museum."

- Cost is $189 per attorney; $125 for arts professionals
